SEAL PROTESTORS ARRESTED
Two PETA protestors, holding the sign: "Canada's Shame: End the Seal Slaughter" and chanting, "Ban the hunt," were arrested and charged with trespassing for disrupting the Fisheries Council of Canada fall conference in Charlottetown. PETA BANNER BANNED AT CITY HALL
PETA is willing to pay big bucks to the city of Calgary to hang its campaign material that reads, "Time to End the Seal Slaughter." Ashley Byrne, spokeswoman, said PETA wants to help city hall generate some income following news reports that Calgary is scrambling for millions of dollars due to shortfall caused by the recession.

PETA continues to get sexy celebrities to drop trough for its anti-fur campaign. Actress Nia Long is the latest to join the animal-loving organization's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign, posing suggestively in a subway car.
