Marketing Coordinator

Position Objective:

To coordinate select online-marketing efforts for the organization, with a focus on driving new leads to PETA's Web sites

Term of Employment:

Full-time

Reports to:

Marketing Manager

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, execute, and analyze PETA's paid online-advertising efforts
  • Manage PETA's online-advertising accounts on sites such as Google, Yahoo!, and BlogAds
  • Draft ad copy and work closely with PETA's Web designers to create ads
  • Assist with the creation of landing pages for specific advertising campaigns
  • Research and explore new advertising possibilities and Internet technologies
  • Create and carry out marketing plans for PETA's Web content
  • Seek out free online ad placement for PETA's public service announcements
  • Track and analyze Web traffic and the success of online campaigns and change strategies accordingly
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Marketing manager

Qualifications:

  • Marketing experience and/or a degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Internet
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization
